Brian was sworn into the Army

So on Friday the 29th of October, Marlene and I went down town to meet up with Darrell to see Brian get sworn into the U.S. Army. It was an all day event. We brought Iain with us. My poor baby didn't get a nap and didn't really get a lunch. He was a good boy the entire time and charmed everyone there. Well at 3pm Brian's dad was able to be sworn into the Army by his dad. It was surreal that all the paper work, sweat, and blood finally paid off. And the 2years of living with his parents is coming to an end. Brian leaves for basic in January and will be gone for 10 to 11 weeks and than he goes to his IT training for 9weeks. I'm going to miss having him around all the time. So wish him (us) luck and keep us in your prayers.
