My baby is One....

Well we were in Utah, Iain celebrated his first birthday. I can't believe that Iain is a one year old. It feels like yesterday that I gave birth to him but on the other hand it feels like Iain has always been with us. (Do all mothers feel this way about their babies?) We planned a big birthday party for Iain and his two cousins, Gabe and Kendrah (Gabe is 11 day older than Iain and Kendrah). And we thought that it would be a lot of fun to celebrate together. So on Saturday, April 24, we had a party for them. When it came time for them to eat their birthday cup cakes, Gabe and Kendrah were all for it but Iain wasn't sure about it. It wasn't till I put a little frosting on my finger and gave it to him, after he licked the frosting off my finger, that he was okay with it. After that there was no stopping him. First he licked the frosting off the cup cake than he eat the cup cake (he also wanted to share it with me). Iain has become quite the sharer of his toys and food. He is becoming a big boy right before my eyes. I can't believe that he is one year old, Brian and I should give he a sibling (because I think he would be so great with a baby). I'm so excited for all the things that Iain is doing and learning and all the things that he will be doing and learning. I love my sweet boy. So, happy birthday baby. Daddy and Momma love you and are so proud of you.
